Engineering on the Road
We Bring the Lab to You
No field trip, no bus schedule, no permission slips, just real engineering, live, in your classroom or at your event. Engineering on the Road brings hands-on, standards-aligned demonstrations to K-12 schools and community groups across North Carolina, built around North Carolina’s Standard Course of Study to reinforce what you’re already teaching, not compete with it.
What a Visit Looks Like
- Interactive demonstrations sized to your group, a single classroom or a full-grade assembly.
- Content built around your curriculum, not a generic script.
- A roadshow option for larger community events: math and science nights, career fairs, and workshops.
Good to Know Before You Request
Demand is high, and our staff is small; availability is limited, so the earlier you request, the better your odds of landing your preferred date. One more thing worth knowing up front: we don’t provide science fair judges. If that’s what you need, we’re not the right fit for this particular ask, but we’re happy to point you toward Family STEM Nights or an Engineering Kit if a different format would work better for your event.
