K-12 Summer Programs

From rising 1st graders building their first foil boat to high school seniors designing real-world solutions, The Engineering Place offers hands-on summer camps and internship opportunities for students in grades 1–12. Students can build, create, solve problems, and explore what it means to think like an engineer.

The College of Engineering plans and executes extensive summer programs for rising kindergarten through 12th-grade students each summer. From week-long day camps to residential stays, these programs introduce students to engineering through hands-on activities and problem-solving. Students spend the week with other like-minded peers and gain exposure to engineering, NC State, and university life.
