The Engineering Place | Special Events

Throughout the year, we work with community partners on special events that share the joy and curiosity of engineering with the next generation of engineers.

Some of the programs we work with throughout the year include:

  • Boys & Girls Club Teen STEM Summit — welcoming Boys & Girls Club members to campus for hands-on engineering activities and conversations with current students.
  • Girl Scouts TechnoQuest — hands-on engineering activities for girls interested in STEM, in partnership with the Girl Scouts of the NC Coastal Pines.
  • Astronomy Days — hosted at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, bringing together engineers and scientists to share STEM and astronomy with the public.
